About Us

Who are we ?

Well convoyrun has been established now for over 5 years and over this period have worked with many large and small companies based mainly around the Manchester area, such as BAe Systems and Oxford Aviation Academy.

We specialise in the creation of electronic media and are based in Bury, just North of Manchester in the UK. Most of the work produced has been based around the regional and military sectors of aviation, having worked on aircraft such as the Hawk, Jetstream 31, 32, 41, ATP, RJ and 146.

Several of the VR projects worked on during time at Pennant were in the marine sectors. We were part of a four man team on the Astute Submarine and as part of a bigger team working on a cbt course for a Type 45 anti-air warfare ships. We have been unable to display any of this work due to security reasons. In order to work on these projects we needed to be cleared to SC Level (Secret Clearance Level).

Web Design - clients worked with

Chantlers pre-school, eden hair and beauty, Technical gas services, GGM bricklayers, Treloarneo, Butty-licious, Palmersflorist, Husson timber supplies and Northernpat.

Convoyrun has not only designed and developed the above websites. We also maintain and host them. All of the above websites are based in the North West apart from Treloarneo and Husson timber supplies who have now moved from Bury to Normandy, France during 2008.

Before any artwork is produced we have a chat about your needs, what your market is and target audiance. We then take this information along with your thoughts as to how you would like the site to look. The next stage we come up with several storyboard solutions. Once agreed on a design we then start to build the site. We gave some of the companies complete new identities, eden hair and beauty and Treloarneo being two of them as they had no identity what so ever, some we just modernised there logos and worked with what they had.

We help and advice our clients continuousley in ways to help promote there business using various methods such as SEO, facebook, linked in along with the creation of adverts, posters etc...

Of all the sites Butty-licious has been the site worked on most. Origionally convoyrun took some of there existing colour palette and logo they wanted to keep. We enhanced them to give the business a much more proffesional look. Then over time we took the business through a transitional period working closely with Director Sarah. We changed the business identity and it has now been given a new look as we have re-vamped there existing website and marketing material.

Northern PAT Testing was another site we have taken on. We did not design it from scratch, however we took on the site and tweaked it in a way to look more modern, re-tagged and promoted there business. We also acted as a consultant in fair tradeing adviseing Graham in the best way possible.
